STRIKE-SLIP FAULT -

The fault motion of a strike-slip fault is caused by the stress known as Shearing.
It is found at Transform-Fault Boundaries. Example: San Andreas Fault, California

This fault motion is caused by the stress Tension.
It is found at Divergent Boundaries.
